IPFS CIDv1 Computer
Computes a deterministic IPFS CIDv1 (Content Identifier version 1) for any text input. Uses SHA-256 multihash with multibase base32 encoding, producing the standard bafkrei... prefix. Output is byte-exact with go-ipfs and js-ipfs for the same input. Includes a self-verified known test vector.
Known vector: "hello world" → bafkreifzjut3te2nhyekklss27nh3k72ysco7y32koao5eei66wof36n5e (raw codec, independently verified)
🔒 All inputs are processed locally in your browser. No data is transmitted. Do not enter real personal data — use synthetic or anonymised inputs only.
Text to compute the CIDv1 for. UTF-8 encoded. Leave blank to compute the CID of the empty string.
raw (0x55) for arbitrary bytes. dag-pb (0x70) for UnixFS/legacy IPFS compatibility.

Copy this paragraph into Claude, OpenClaw, or any MCP-aware agent to run this exact tool, with this sample, and verify the artifact.
Run the AINumbers MCP tool `compute_ipfs_cid`. Task: Compute a deterministic IPFS CIDv1 (SHA-256 multihash, multibase base32) for any text input.
Call it with arguments: {"policy_parameters":{"text":"hello world","codec":"raw"}}
Verify before trusting: call `verify_execution_hash` on mcp.ainumbers.co (https://mcp.ainumbers.co/mcp) with the parameter `claimed_hash` set to the returned `execution_hash`, passing the full artifact the run returned (the object containing `policy_parameters` + `output_payload` + `execution_hash`; equivalently `policy_parameters` + `output_payload` with `claimed_hash`), not the bare hash string, or re-run the in-page WebMCP tool `compute_ipfs_cid`.
Return the ledger link https://ledger.ainumbers.co/ so a human can re-verify without contacting us.
PII rule: All inputs are processed locally in your browser. No data is transmitted. Do not enter real personal data — use synthetic or anonymised inputs only.
